This term Miss McDougall's class will be embarking on an exciting new REAL project, where we will be answering our essential learning question: 'How might we support our local ecosystem?

Key Stage Three will be working towards achieving the RSPB Gold award. Here in Miss McDougall's class, we will be focussing on the endangered plant species of : green winged orchids. We will be venturing out to Whisby nature reserve and completing our allocated tasks throughout the term such as composting and a plant safari!

English and Science will be incorporated into our REAL project this term, with a focus on non-chronological report writing and Biology focus in Science- where we will study ecosystems.

In PSHE we will be studying community, and in Religious Education we will look be thinking about the importance of Allah to Muslims.

We will also continue with our weekly computing, french, PE and technology lessons.

Alongside all of this hard work, we are hoping to fit in some class fun this half term too to reward everybody for their hard work and progress this term, so watch this space!
