Mr Hare's Crew

Mr Hare, Miss Rook and Miss Scott.

Welcome to Year 10 - Term 4!

We are really pleased to welcome you to Mr Hare's crew page.

Our crew is called Polaris which is the fixed star in the Northern sky. It symbolises guidance, constancy and direction.

You will find below the information on what we will be studying for each subject in Term 4 of Year 10.

The year so far has been a great success for the class. There were many highlights including a trip to the Lincoln Arts Centre to watch a performance of Macbeth.

Our crew team is:
 Mr Hare – Crew Teacher
 Miss Rook – Teaching Assistant
 Miss Scott – Teaching Assistant

Together, we support students to feel safe, happy, and ready to achieve their best.

What we are learning this term -

English

Students will continue their study of Macbeth, developing their understanding of character, themes, key quotations, and exam skills. We loved visiting the theatre to watch Macbeth performed at the Lincoln Arts Centre.

In the second part of the term we will focus on different ways of representing data from statistics including frequency tables, bar charts and pie charts. We will also look at the difference between discrete and continuous data.
