Mr Hare's Class

Mills

Mr Mills, Miss Rook, Miss Tachtara

This half term we are preparing well for all our summer examinations. At times some of them are understandably worried, however they are all gaining confidence each day in their ability to show the best of themselves in the exams. Year 11 are learning different ways in which they can revise and finding which one is best for them and their way of learning.

In our lessons we are re-covering some of our curriculum to feel as ready as possible for the GCSEs.

In many of our non-core subjects we are completing our non-exam assessments: in PE we are recording our strong sports performances. Some are being assessed in athletics, others are being assessed in badminton doubles, to go alongside their trampolining performances.

In cooking our pupils are planning a final assessment; where they plan and independently cook a healthy two course meal, all the staff are looking forward to helping Mr Mills mark their work!

In construction the boys are putting their final touches, such as sanding and varnishing, to their stools that they have created from scratch to complete their unit.

The staff are also working hard in the background to ensure that the year 11s have many things to look forward to in the months to come, we have football matches planned as well as the leavers trip to Alton Towers!

Well done to 11a so far for all of their hard work, they should be very proud of themselves.
