Our KS4 students recently visited the Lincoln Arts Centre to watch a live performance of Macbeth, and it was a fantastic experience for all involved. Students were thoroughly engaged throughout the performance and responded really positively to seeing the play brought to life on stage.
The visit helped deepen their understanding of the characters, themes, and dramatic tension of the play, supporting their learning in English and building confidence with challenging texts. It was wonderful to see such high levels of focus, enthusiasm, and thoughtful discussion afterwards.
A big well done to our students for representing the school so positively — they were a credit to Athena School throughout the visit.
